Plasma Surface Treatment + Tape Application Solution for 3C Electronic Product Packaging

Many packaging manufacturers for 3C electronics encounter a common headache: self-adhesive labels and protective tapes easily fall off coated color boxes. Surface coating reduces carton surface energy, leading to unstable adhesion and high reject rates.

Keqi provides a mature inline solution combining plasma surface activator and automatic tape applicator. As shown in this 3C mobile phone carton project, plasma pre-treatment activates the coated cardboard surface before tape application. It removes surface release agents and raises surface tension, ensuring tapes stay firmly bonded to printed color boxes during storage and transportation.

The whole set of equipment can be retrofitted on existing folder gluers without large-scale line modification. It runs synchronously with carton conveying speed to realize continuous automatic processing. Compared with manual sticking, this automated workflow standardizes positioning accuracy, cuts labor cost and effectively avoids tape warping or detachment.

The atmospheric plasma treatment is a dry, eco-friendly process that will not scratch printed patterns or cause color fading. It fits various coated cartons, laminated gift boxes and electronic product outer packaging.
