How to Select Proper Tape-Application Equipment for Packaging Converters

When choosing tape-application equipment, packaging converters need to evaluate core practical factors: box-size range, tape material & width, production-line speed, existing-equipment retrofitting possibility and custom-process requirements.

If you already have folder-gluers, modular retrofittable applicator heads (TD20, T-Series, NT35 etc.) are preferred for lower investment. For standalone full-process production, select B-Series automatic tape-application platforms with multi-head expansion capability. Jumbo-roll feeder DS-1400 is recommended for high-volume continuous-production to reduce roll-change downtime.

Different functional-tapes correspond to dedicated heads: tear-tape for easy-open cartons, release-tape heads for liner-peeling, LZ35 for silicone-tape. Confirm taping tolerance, installation space and power-air source condition before quotation.
